Geneva Lane - At Last
So I have decided to start putting up my favourite YouTube covers each day and share them with you guys, along with my opinion etc. Its similar to my "Album Of The Week" page only its different people covering different songs on YouTube and it is updated everyday of course! Today my favourite cover was by Geneva Lane who reached the Live Shows of X-Factor with band Belle Amie.
I know the cover is a few weeks old but its my favourite so far so I thought I'd start the page off with it. I honestly thought whenever I heard Geneva in Belle Amie on the live shows of X-Factor that she was just another "Average singer" that "looked good" but after hearing this version of At Last the song she auditioned with, I was literally blown away with her solid vocal, It is obvious that Geneva is no Beyoncé or Etta James but she is in a league of her own and would be great in today's music industry if she was given the right type of genre and image.
I would love to see Geneva do well and break into the music industry as a solo-artist because she is genuinely talented vocally and she is gorgeous also. I am really excited to see what she does next, and with her solid fan base and the right support I believe she will go far.
